# clsAffiliatedPolicyCollection

`clsAffiliatedPolicyCollection` retrieves affiliated policies for a policy, filterable by agent
number and agency sequence number, and is used both directly and as a data source for the
policyholder "book of business" list-building operation ([Build the current user's book of business](../../operations/build-book-of-business.md)).

## Purpose
- Retrieves affiliated policies for a policy via `pk72846_view_policy.getpolicyaffiliatelist`.
- Filters out affiliated-policy rows that do not match the requested agent/agency filter ([BR-VP-013](../../business-rules.md#br-vp-013-affiliated-policy-agent-agency-filter)).

## Behavioral notes
- Rows not matching the agent/agency filter are excluded during `AfterRetrieve` even though returned by the stored procedure ([BR-VP-013](../../business-rules.md#br-vp-013-affiliated-policy-agent-agency-filter)).

## Constraints and usage notes
- Both `AgentNum` and `AgencySeqNum` being zero is treated as "no filter" (all rows included).*
